Teacher Appreciation Resin Apple Jar

Do you know why teaching is symbolized with an apple? As early as the 16th century, teachers were gifted with apples as a token of appreciation, but they were also given as payment. Nowadays, giving your teacher an apple may not be as exciting as it used to be, but this Resin Apple Jar is a great substitution. Made with resin and sparkling glitter, this apple jar can be filled with anything you'd like to give along with the jar (think small treats, paper clips, and other small objects) for your favorite teacher. When closed, the jar can be put on display on the teacher's desk as a reminder of how appreciated they are!

I'm really loving creating jewelry with polymer clay lately, and have been trying to learn all of the different techniques. For example, I just learned how to make realistic flowers using clay, and I had so much fun with it! You can make them in any color, and they are the perfect accessory for any occasion. They will add a pop of color to a casual outfit, or will look elegant with something dressier.
